EdTec is a growing national social venture that provides business and operational development support to charter schools throughout the nation with a focus on California, Tennessee, New York, and most recently Washington, Louisiana, Georgia, and Nevada. EdTec is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Emeryville), with offices in Los Angeles and Nashville.

Our team of experts delivers unparalleled support services that span charter development, business and operations, and student data and assessment. Through our core service offering – back-office – we provide our clients with a CFO-level resource and a team of specialists to perform payroll, accounts payable, and accounting functions, as well as to support financial analysis, reporting and compliance requirements, enabling charter school leaders to focus on academic excellence.

We are a private company motivated by the mission to improve public education through the support of charter schools. We currently provide services to over 300 schools that collectively serve over 160,000 students, many of them located in low-income, inner-city areas and/or with high English Language Learner populations.
