LCAP Consulting and Support Services

The LCAP is an annual requirement for every California charter school. Developing a strong LCAP is a critical task, as you will depend on it to guide the allocation of resources and develop other key school documents. For these reasons, your school’s LCAP should be a living, breathing document that you reference throughout the year and use as part of your strategic planning process. We invite you to work with us to embrace this time and plan with purpose.  We’ll help you make your LCAP a useful tool for your charter school community, not just another compliance document, by integrating and aligning your Charter, Title Plans, budget, student data, assessments, and WASC plan.

EdTec offers customized LCAP support services to meet each charter school’s unique needs and provides support through planning, writing, and tracking your LCAP. Our LCAP services include:

  • Consultation – We work with you to develop your LCAP strategy
  • Review – We deliver written feedback with recommendations on how to improve your draft LCAP
  • Drafting – We write your LCAP draft after consulting with your staff
  • Data Support – We teach you to identify and track vital LCAP metrics data

The LCAP is a time intensive, year-long process, so don’t wait until the last minute. Contact us today!

Local Indicators for CA Dashboard Video

The deadline to upload the Local Indicators to the CA School Dashboard is November 16, 2018. If you do not complete this, your school will be marked “Not Met” for all Local Indicators. Find out what your charter school needs to do to meet this deadline by clicking on the video above!

LCAP 360

Introducing the first integrated, end-to-end LCAP service for charter schools! Our experienced team will guide your school through our unique, multi-phased approach to assess achievement, refine your goals, optimize data systems, and monitor progress to ensure school success.

Phase I: Assess & Align

We evaluate current plans, systems, and performance to identify your school’s needs and gaps in goals alignment, data reporting, and student achievement.

Phase II: Educate, Create & Develop

We work together to identify aligned LCAP goals and create actions and services to accomplish these goals based on your charter’s unique program and population. We train your school leadership to be LCAP Ambassadors. To monitor progress, we set appropriate, realistic metrics and define methods for tracking expenditures.

Phase III: Execute, Mentor, & Monitor

We create systems to ensure appropriate tracking is in place, and coach school leadership to share their LCAP progress with all stakeholders. To ensure ongoing success, we conduct a monthly review of key attendance indicators and CALPADS data, provide a quarterly KPI review, and assist with the LCAP annual update.
